On chiptunepro.com, you fill in a remapping quote right on screen and save it as a PDF, with no account and no email.
Before you start
- Open chiptunepro.com/fr/devis-reprogrammation-gratuit, or the website's "Ressources" menu. The page only exists in French: other languages point to it. The labels below are the ones shown on the page, with their meaning.
Open the generator
The quote is under the title "Générateur de devis de reprogrammation gratuit". The number is suggested (D-year-001) and can be changed. Today's date and "Valable jusqu'au" (valid until), 30 days later, are calculated automatically.
Fill in the garage and the customer
Under "Garage": "Nom du garage" (garage name), "Adresse du garage" (garage address), "Téléphone ou e-mail" (phone or email) and "SIRET". Under "Client": "Nom du client" (customer name), "Véhicule (marque, modèle, moteur)" (vehicle: make, model, engine) and "Immatriculation" (registration). Type straight onto the dotted lines.
Add the services
A "Reprogrammation Stage 1" line is already there. The "+ Reprogrammation Stage 2", "+ Conversion E85", "+ Optimisation boîte automatique" (automatic gearbox), "+ Passage au banc de puissance" (dyno run) and "+ Diagnostic" buttons add a line; "+ Ajouter une ligne" adds an empty one. Fill in "Qté" (quantity) and "Prix HT" (price excluding VAT). The cross removes a line.
Set the VAT
"TVA à 20 %" (20% VAT) is ticked: the quote shows Total HT, TVA 20% and Total TTC. Under the VAT exemption scheme, untick it: a single total and the mention "TVA non applicable, art. 293 B du CGI".
Download the PDF
Click "Télécharger le PDF" (download the PDF). In the print window, choose "Save as PDF". The garage name and at least one line with a price are required, otherwise a message reminds you.
What your customer sees
The PDF contains the garage, the customer and the vehicle, the table of services, the totals and the line "Bon pour accord, date et signature du client :" (approved, date and customer signature). You send it yourself.
If it doesn't work
- Is my information saved?
- No. The quote is made in your browser, nothing is sent or kept. Everything disappears when you close the page.
- Can I turn this quote into an invoice?
- Not here. In ChiptunePRO, an accepted quote becomes an invoice.
- A line does not appear on the PDF.
- Only lines with a description, and a quantity and price above zero, are printed.
