What is a file service?
A file service is a website where other professionals (garages, tuners, resellers with a reading tool) send the file read from a vehicle’s ECU. You modify it, they download the file ready to write. With Chiptune File, that website is yours: your name, your domain, your prices and your customers.

From roughly €2,667 in sales per month, the no-commission plan is cheaper: 7.5% of €2,667 is about €200, so about €250 in total either way.
The commission, explained simply
- On the €50/month plan, the 7.5% commission applies to the amount of each payment made by your customers.
- Stripe fees (card processing fees) are paid by your connected Stripe account, as with any Stripe payment. They come on top of the commission.
- If you refund a payment, the commission taken on that payment is not refunded.
- On the €250/month plan, there is no commission: only Stripe fees remain yours to pay.
